How I help my clients drop a dress size in 28 days or less

For years now I’ve been helping my boot camp and online clients lose a dress size in 28 days.

There’s no magic pill, potion or shake involved in what my clients do to get such fantastic results, it’s a matter of working smarter at cleaning up the nutrition along with fitness that increases the metabolism.

Address Nutrition

Firstly we clean up the nutrition, we cut out the most common foods that cause inflammation in the body, these include: wheat, gluten, dairy (eggs and natural bio culture yoghurts are generally ok), alcohol, sugar and processed foods, once we reduce the inflammation, fat loss becomes much easier, after 28 days we have a more balanced approach to nutrition. We increase vegetable and fruit intake – green leafy vegetables and berries are the top of the list. We increase good lean protein, preferably with freedom to roam and graze, chicken, turkey, beef, lamb. We reduce processed meats.

We also increase good fats in the diet, good fats are essential for helping our bodies absorb certain fat soluble vitamins and minerals: Vitamin ADE and K along with trace minerals which include calcium, zinc, iron and magnesium. Our good fat sources come from good quality meats along with coconut oil, avocados, nuts and seeds.

We may also add a good quality multivitamin.

Exercise Regularly

I encourage my clients to get outdoors and exercise regularly, this can be with boot camp sessions, a walk/run or a workout in the garden. Outdoor time has been linked to a wide variety of health benefits. Studies suggest that it increases your energy levels and helps you to stay more alert. A daily bit of natural sunlight may also help fight depression. Vitamin D, which is created naturally when sunlight acts on the skin, is important for a whole host of bodily functions it helps to regulate calcium and phosphorus levels in the blood and is vital to the immune system (though we don't see much sunlight during the winter on boot camp lol).

I support exercise that increases the basal metabolic rate (how many calories our bodies burn at rest), this is done by a mixture of resistance training and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT).

Get support

I also suggest they get a support network to help them achieve success, this is often achieved within our group environment of the boot camps or a personal trainer, but it can also be achieved by working out with a partner.

Other things we also work on are the mindset and individual goals.
